New Zealand Music Examinations Board is a quality, national alternative for music assessment; developed from a maturity and independence that has characterised our country and its achievements. We are proud to celebrate and advance New Zealand music standards.
Our syllabuses have been composed after detailed consultation with teachers, universities and musicians, and include repertoire from New Zealand composers. With widely respected specialist examiners involved, we have set our standards high.
We currently offer syllabuses in piano, clarinet, oboe, flute, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, singing, violin, viola, cello, bassoon, chamber music, recorder and theory. Many of these are also offered at Performance standard. In each, our dedication to excellence is unswerving.
NZMEB has course approval from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, recognising commitment to high standards of achievement.
NZMEB is here to stay. Join us and help be a part of this young and exciting development that is wholly ours – a truly New Zealand music curriculum.
As set out below, piano compositions by Sandra Lynch are featured in List C and List D of the NZMEB syllabus and are available to purchase individually.
